This strain is recommented for winter growing under lamps and in summer in greenhouses or just outdoor.   Very strong cbd-levels more than 12% (thc and other cannabinoids 1-3 %

This compact and early-flowering generation was selected from the original broad-spectrum Northern Sun CBD gene pool, under the intense light conditions of the Finnish summer. The original NS-CBD strain included several recognizable phenotypes, ranging from traditional "Christmas-tree-like" sativas to compact indicas. Parent plants and suitable males were chosen based on their extremely fast life cycle — as short as 8 weeks from seed to seed.

Selection work will continue during the 2025 summer season, aiming to establish a fast, CBD-rich strain capable of producing two full generations during the long days of the Alaska–Finland light zone. The breeding goal is to stabilize the line with desirable traits suitable for controlled size in indoor cultivation.

Selection criteria focused on yield components, bud density, flower abundance, and particularly terpene content and overall aromatic quality. The goal is to develop a strain with indica traits, dense buds, and performance even in northern test plots beyond the Arctic Circle — suitable for medicinal CBD production.

Key Feature: All our autoflowering seeds are stress-tested in extreme outdoor northern conditions. These seeds are the offspring of naturally grown CBD plants that produced seeds within just eight weeks of sowing, at northern latitude ⁓65°. The beneficial extrapolation is that if flower structure becomes dense under these intense radiation conditions, it will be dense also in southern climates with shorter photoperiods.

Field testing showed that THC levels in the mother plants remained below 2%. Given that CBD content is an order of magnitude higher, the plants grown from these seeds can be considered non-intoxicating.

Because these are regular seeds, future seed production is possible, and the genetic diversity allows for finding unique phenotypes suitable for further breeding. Each seed has the potential to produce a fast-flowering plant, making it ideal for experimental selection and observational breeding.
